The Mâconnais is located in the south of Burgundy, it is the southernmost vineyard in the region. It stretches 50 kilometers long, between Sennecey-le-Grand in the north and Saint-Véran to the Beaujolais border and covers around 5,600 hectares.
Traveling the Mâconnais wine route means having the opportunity to discover five greatest appellations, among the most prestigious in Burgundy, which are Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Vinzelles, Pouilly-Loché, Saint -Véran and Viré-Clessé.
